SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We welcome submissions from anyone and everyone, especially women, people of colour, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those who identify as disabled and/or neurodiverse. Yuzu Press is also a Singapore-based magazine, and as such, we especially encourage Singaporean writers and artists to submit their work to us. Please say hello if you are Singaporean, or live in Singapore!
Yuzu Press does not accept any work that contains and/or perpetuates discriminatory or prejudiced views of any kind. If you send us harmful pieces, we reserve the right to ignore any submissions you send us in the future.
HOUSEKEEPING
NOTE: SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED.

Submissions to more than one category are allowed. Please send all submissions in the same email. We do not accept previously published work, but pieces posted on social media or personal blogs are accepted. We accept simultaneous submissions; we just ask that in the case that your submission is accepted elsewhere (in which case, congratulations!), you send us an email to let us know.

All rights revert to the author upon publication; we simply request that you credit us as your work's first home.

We accept poetry (both visual and non-visual), fiction, flash fiction, and creative nonfiction. Please send all submissions to yuzupresslit@gmail.com. For the subject of your email, please use the format "[GENRE SUBMISSION] - NAME". (For example, if you are submitting poetry: "POETRY SUBMISSION - SARAH LEE". You are welcome to use pen names.) If you are submitting pieces in multiple categories (e.g. a poem and a fiction piece), please use "[MULTIPLE SUBMISSION] - NAME". Include a short third-person bio and (optionally) any social media handles in the body of the email, so we can tag you in any promotional material we may put out (e.g. tweets).

Please allow up to three weeks for feedback from us. If you have not received a reply from us by then, please feel free to send us an email to check in on your submission.

As of now, we're not a paying market. We'd love to pay our contributors, but we don't currently have the means to do so (and we aren't earning anything either, as we want to keep submissions free for everyone)!

Below are some additional guidelines for submissions:
